Wild West Heart - Zine and Print
Wild West Heart is a love letter to my Korean heritage, and a way for me to connect to my past while sharing my unique perspective as a Black/Korean woman who grew up in the American West.
My Black heritage is just as important to me and cannot be separated from my whole person, and so some Black American influences and symbolism can be found within some of the cards.
Each page within the 3-coloured zine features one of twenty-nine tarot inspired illustrations, the meaning behind each card, and how growing up as a mixed race child in the American West continues to inspire the work I create.
