Odd Folk & Fables is a feature exhibition showcasing the unique and imaginative works of Burger Babie, Deth P Sun, Edlyn Capulong, Rolly Poly Studios, and Shirley Jackson (me!).

I was invited to this delightful show with four other amazing artists where we weren't given a theme—and yet a folk art, nostalgia inspired theme organically grew out of the work we all created together, individually.

Tigers and wolves never fail me when it comes to creative inspiration, and so I decided to make a collection themed around different tigers.
Originally, I was going to make 10 large tigers with 10 miniature versions that were all individual colours of the rainbow. But as I got to working, the tigers spoke to me and this is how they wanted to be.
Really happy I listened, because I absolutely love how everyone turned out.
