I'm a little bummed that these ended up not being on time for holiday shipping. I was working really hard on getting pieces done for my show with Antler Gallery (I still need to write a blog post about that!), and I just did not have the energy or time for a pottery release that was conjunct with holiday shipping.

I was also a little low on energy and ideas so I defaulted to birds and whatever creature that came to mind.
But here's a look at what I made this round!

I think this Snowy Owl is one of my favourites in this batch!

These other two owls were experiments with brown underglazes and owl shapes. My owls still feel really primitive, but I think with more practice and experiments I'll figure out how to sculpt an owl that feels right to me!
