God Save the Queen — Every Day Original

My latest piece for Every Day Original is now available!

Photo of the painting itself propped up against a sequoia tree with greenery in the front. The painting features a wolf that has a gold crescent moon mark on her forehead, and is surrounded by golden California poppies.

Inspired by the newest wolf pack found in the Sequoia National Forest, God Save the Queen is in honour of the female wolves of the pack.

One female is a direct descendant of Journey/OR-7 (a wolf who I've done several pieces inspired by back in 2016), and one female who already has some pups. I wanted to wish them and their pack protection and good health.

This piece was done on basswood with acryla gouache, and comes ready to hang.
